Well, looks like by Valentines day, I should be mostly cured from this crappy cold. My fever went down by a lot actually, and that makes me very happy. Now if I can keep this up and stay warm / drink a lot of water (or tea) / and keep up with my medicine,..all shall be fine! Today I cried from joy, and I have a good reason now, I COULD ACTUALLY TASTE MY FOOD! I was so happy and everything, it may have not showed, but the tears rolling down my cheeks proved otherwise. The taste of mashed potatoes and chicken had never tasted better. Last night I wanted Sata Andagi, but we couldn't make it because of how weak I was (mom noticed). So instead we made homemade Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and macaroni noodles, I could not taste a single thing besides the pepper. It called for 1 tablespoon, and yes, I said 1 TABLESPOON! That was so much pepper that if you were sick, you'd definitely taste it. I am tempted to make more tea. I been drinking Tazo's Black Tea -- Awake or Tazo's Zen Green Tea. I remember the first time I ever tried Tazo tea was back in High School -- Sophomore year. I came to school not feeling so great, so I went to the kitchen (they let any student in there to make breakfast, soup, tea or coffee), noticed some of the students making warm water in the microwave for tea and so they looked at me and asked if I had ever tried "Tazo". I had a blank stare paused upon my face. So they grabbed a bag of Black Tea (Tazo) -- Awake. Let it soak its ingredients into the water. I watched it turn darker and they said, "Try it." my friend smiled at me and whispered "Morning." I looked at the tea, curious what I was about to drink. I tried it. It was so amazing, and smooth, it felt as if some soft silk had coated my throat. I drank all of it, not a care in the world how hot it was, so when I made more, I sipped it through the day, and I got much better. I usually get sick in the Winter and stay sick for weeks on end, the tea had cured me in just one week! Now I want tea.. so enjoy whatever it was you were doing! Ciao! :3
